ALL IN: Jamaica Missions Team
As we prepare to send mission teams to Nicaragua and Jamaica, we’re reminded that there is a place for EVERYONE to serve in the mission of Jesus. Some are called to go. Others are called to pray, encourage, and support. But all of us are invited to participate.
Jesus said in Matthew 20:28, “the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...” And this season, we have the opportunity to live that out together.
This week, our Nicaragua Mission Team of 15 students and adults is heading out to serve alongside Amigos for Christ. What a beautiful picture of the body of Christ this team represents—all saying yes to serving others in the name of Jesus.
And then from June 6-13, our Jamaica Missions Team compiled of 42 people will serve with ACE Ministries in St. Mary, Jamaica. If you feel called to support a member of the team as a prayer partner, please contact Deborah Jetton at deborahjettonis@gmail.com.
As these teams prepare to go, would you join us in prayer?
• Pray Ephesians 2:10 over them: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
• Pray for safety and protection throughout their travels and ministry.
• Pray for open hearts—to both give and receive.
• Pray for lives to be changed, for seeds of faith to be planted, and for God’s Kingdom to continue growing long after the trip ends.
Church family, this is what it looks like to be ALL IN—serving together, praying together, and carrying the love of Jesus beyond the walls of the church and into the world. Whether you go, give, pray, encourage, or serve behind the scenes, your faithfulness matters.
Let’s continue to be a church that says yes to the mission of Jesus—right here, right now.
