One of the great joys of serving as your rector is witnessing the extraordinary love and generosity of this community. Week after week, I see people giving of their time, talents, resources, and hearts. And I want you to know how deeply grateful I am.

Because of you, St. Michael's is more than a place where we gather on Sundays. It is a community where God's love becomes visible. Hungry neighbors are fed. Children discover God's love. The grieving find comfort. And people searching for meaning, belonging, and hope find a spiritual home.

Together, we are making a difference. Together, we are making Christ’s love visible.

On Sunday, November 22, we will celebrate Christ the King Sunday with a special blessing of our 2027 pledge cards. I can think of no more appropriate occasion.

Christ the King Sunday reminds us that Jesus is not simply part of our lives. He is the One around whom we are invited to order our lives, including our priorities, possessions, and generosity.

As our stewardship theme reminds us, we don't give to earn God's love. We give because we have already received it. Everything begins with grace. And grace awakens gratitude, deepens trust, and inspires generosity.

I invite every household at St. Michael's to prayerfully complete and return a 2027 pledge card by Sunday, November 22. Whether this is your first pledge or you've been giving faithfully for decades, your commitment matters. Every pledge, whatever the amount, helps us plan responsibly, sustain our ministries, and extend Christ's love into the world.

But a pledge is more than a financial commitment. It is an expression of faith and trust; a tangible way of saying, "Lord, everything I have comes from you, and I want the way I give to reflect the place you hold in my life."

Thank you for your faithfulness, your kindness, and your generosity. What a privilege it is to share in what God is doing through St. Michael's!

In Christ’s love,
