In memoriam: Paul Werner

Paul Werner was a devoted, talented, boundlessly enthusiastic teacher who helped shape the lives of countless young artists. Please join us as we say a very fond farewell to Paul at a memorial service on Sunday, November 15, from 12pm-3pm at Ben Franklin High School (2001 Leon C. Simon Drive, New Orleans).

After performances in Europe and the United States, tenor Joshua Stewart (Vocal Music, 2005) brings Man Without a Home to New Orleans for its final performance at the Marigny Opera House on September 29. He'll be joined by acclaimed pianist and composer Courtney Bryan (Jazz, 2000). Click here for info and tickets!

Can you ever have too much NOCCA merch?

The NOCCA Marketplace is full of great items for you, your family members, and friends. Show your NOCCA pride with an array of sweatshirts, t-shirts, mugs, and more. You can even get a jump on next year's (very short) Carnival season with some king cake-themed merch, or grab some of our new items honoring NOCCA's first Chef-in-Residence, Frank Brigtsen!

We also offer a NOCCA letterman jacket, which can be customized with a name, department, and year of graduation. It's a perfect gift for the NOCCA student or alum in your life!

Are you in the NOCCA Circle?

The NOCCA Foundation helps students pay for art supplies and college application fees; supports classroom visits from dozens of guest artists; funds professional development for faculty; and manages programs for the community. None of this would be possible without the support of people like you. Click here to make your tax-deductible gift today!
