CancerCare's National Gala

CancerCare's National Gala was held this April at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The event was a great success, raising over $1,000,000 for CancerCare's free emotional, practical and financial services for anyone impacted by cancer.

This year, BioNTech was honored as the recipient of the Dorothy Schachne Corporate Achievement Award in recognition for their support of people affected by cancer. Richard Gaynor, President of Research and Development at BioNTech, accepted the award on the company's behalf.

We thank everyone who attended and donated in support of our vital support services, enabling us to help many more in the coming year.

Subcutaneous Drugs for Cancer: A Faster Alternative to IV Infusions

Thanks to medical advancements, many cancer drugs that were previously delivered only via IV infusions are now available as subcutaneous injections. For patients, this means less time in the clinic and more time with loved ones. In this video, we explain how subcutaneous cancer drugs work, the benefits of subcutaneous delivery, how to prepare for your injections and what to expect during and after treatment.

CancerCare's 82nd Birthday!

This month marks CancerCare's 82nd birthday! We are honored to celebrate over eight decades of helping millions of people navigating a cancer diagnosis.

Will you join us with your own act of compassion this month? By making a donation, starting your own fundraiser or sharing on social media why you love CancerCare, you can help us continue to support anyone who reaches out for help. Thank you!

Helping You With Clinical Trials

An individual's cancer treatment can be boosted by clinical trials, which can often lead to advancements in how cancer is treated going forward and help for those who join them.

Go to www.myTRIAList.org to learn more about how clinical trials can help. There, you can also find clinical trials available to you, engage with interviews of those who have undergone clinical trials, tutorials about how they work and more.
