Santee Falcons SOAR! Principal's Update
November 03, 2019
Principal Ansley's Weekly Message
Dear Santee Family,

"There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul." Ella Wheeler Wilcox

This year, we are celebrating our 15th year as a school. The people in this picture, along with a few that are missing have dedicated the last 15 years to the success of our Santee Falcons. They opened the building and through ups and downs they were determined to ensure that they created and maintained a school community that provided the educational experience that our students deserve. It is a great honor to thank them for their years of service and their unwavering commitment to serve our community.

Our school community has proven that the dedication and love of educators can make a difference and can shatter glass ceilings. As we celebrate through out the year, I ask that we not only reminisce on the amazing achievements that Santee has made but that we dream of the future and the amazing goals we will continue to accomplish over the next 15 years!

Working Together, All Santee Falcons Will Soar !

If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to call our main office or email Principal Susana Ansley-Gutierrez at susana.gutierrez@lausd.net.

See electronic version of the Mission and Vision Poster.
B) Santee Hard Truths

  • Taking accurate attendance is extremely important. We are still seeing discrepancies. Marking a student present when they are absent or absent when they are present does not only affect our attendance rates but can cause concerns and distrust from our school community.

  • Text-a-Tip is for emergency purposes. Adults should not be using text-a-tip to report other school related issues or concerns. Please use the appropriate online forms for any maintenance issues, supply requests or other concerns.
