- A Special Evening at The Arlington
Many thanks to John Campbell, who recently brought together UCMI members living at The Arlington for a wonderful dinner. Pastor Ed and his wife, Jane, were delighted to be invited and enjoyed the chance to visit with everyone and share an evening of fellowship. Thank you, John, for your thoughtfulness in bringing our church family together!
- Bargain Basket Volunteers Prepare for Grand Opening
This week, several of our dedicated Bargain Basket volunteers gathered to review shop protocols, share important updates, and finalize plans for the weeks ahead. The meeting was a wonderful opportunity to get everyone on the same page and build excitement for what’s to come.
Stay tuned, because our grand opening is coming very soon!
We can’t wait to welcome our members and the wider community through the doors. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers whose time, energy, and hard work have made this transition possible. We couldn’t do it without you!
Operation Christmas Child: Don’t Forget Your Shoebox!
If you’ve packed a shoebox for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child but haven’t turned it in yet, there’s still time! Please bring your completed boxes to [location] by [date] so they can join the thousands of gifts headed to children around the world. Each box brings joy, hope, and the message of God’s love to a child in need. Thank you for your generosity, and if you have any questions, contact ucmarco@ucmarco.org.
Having trouble retrieving the Sunday bulletin from UCMI’s newsletter? You can now find the bulletin each week on the United Church of Marco Island website. Visit www.ucmarco.org and look for the latest Sunday bulletin, along with worship information and other church updates.
- Celebrate Your Family News
United Church of Marco Island would love to celebrate the births, graduations, accomplishments, and other special milestones of your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!
Please send your announcements to ucmarco@ucmarco.org so we can share in your family’s joy. If a new baby has joined your family, please let the church office know so we can place a flower on the Communion table in celebration.
