Congress Needs To Hear From You That the Bus Industry Needs More Certs Grant Funding
Congress will take up legislation this fall to enact President Biden's "Build Back Better" plan - but you can't build back better without buses! The CERTS grant program, although helpful, is not adequately funded to cover the bus industry losses and ensure its survival. We need Congress to add money to the CERTS funding pot - and we need to get this message to Congress now, while the legislation is being crafted.
As Congress considers the reconciliation legislation to enact President Biden’s American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan, we are respectfully requesting the inclusion of $6 billion in additional funding for the CERTS program.
