⚙️Your Chamber at Work

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the Chamber’s weekly efforts to support members, strengthen the business community, and help North Iowa thrive.

✨Last Week's Highlights:

  • Last week, the Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce and the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up to host the inaugural North Iowa Marketing Summit, bringing together more than 140 professionals for a day of networking, learning, and unlocking our untold stories. Attendees shared ideas and explored new ways to tell the stories that make their businesses and communities unique.

  • Program Director Kelby Schultz and Marketing Associate Keagan Sifert attended the ACCE Events & Communications Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, taking away new and creative ways to engage members, strengthen communication and create meaningful experiences that build lasting connections within our business community.

  • The Iowa Association of Chambers of Commerce held their annual Fall Conference here in North Iowa at the Surf Ballroom Music Experience Center on October 14 & 15. Chamber professionals gathered from across the state to learn how to “Lead like a Rockstar!” by amplifying their leadership, strengthening community connections, and identifying innovative strategies to drive real impact. (Special thanks to our host the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and members Cabin Coffee, Bergland & Cram and One Vision who served on an intergenerational panel and shared how impactful our Chambers are.)

  • On Sunday, Chamber staff joined CURRIES for its annual Candy Crawl! Keeping the good times rolling with a Mardi Gras theme, staff welcomed community members with beads, candy, and Mardi Gras music.
