Rector Search
As the vestry works with the diocese on finding a new rector, we need your input. Please click on the survey button below and make your selections from the multiple choice questions, as well as any comments you have for the text responses. This format will allow us to see everyone’s input. As always, if you have comments or questions that can’t be addressed here, feel free to reach out to a vestry member or email vestry@stmarksnc.org

Adult formation will return in between services on Oct. 18, with a six-week series called "Forgiveness: Finding freedom through grace."
What does it really mean to forgive? How do we forgive when the hurt is deep? Does forgiveness require reconciliation? During this series, we will explore these questions through Scripture, prayer, and conversation. Together we will examine God's call to forgive, the challenges we face in doing so, and the freedom that comes from embracing God's grace.
Each session will include biblical reflection, guided discussion, and practical ways to incorporate forgiveness into daily life. All are welcome.

At this time, our pledge balance is as follows:
37 pledged totaling $202,606.00 of which we have currently received $58,795.00

St Mark's Prayer List
If you would like a name on the prayer list, contact Marcia or Jan Daubener. If you would also like a prayer sent out to Pastoral Care/prayer chain, let Jan know. Starting in September, names will remain on the list for 4 weeks, unless specified otherwise. You may extend (or decrease!) the time by notifying Marcia. We will continue to have folks on the list long term at their request, and will continue to read names aloud on the 3rd Sunday of each month. If you have questions please contact Marcia in the office or Jan (jandaubener@gmail.com).
