Tell us about your professional background and roles you've held prior to joining AireSpring.
My professional journey began in the early 1980s, while I was still a student at Towson University. I dropped out of college to start my own business, Phone a Pizza. Running my own venture gave me hands-on knowledge in areas such as marketing, inventory control, human resources, payroll, and accounting. It was an education I couldn’t have gained in any classroom. Although the venture ultimately closed due to competition, this early entrepreneurial experience laid the foundation for my future career success. I grew up around retail, learning the ropes from my father, who was an executive at a national footwear retailer.
After my time in the pizza business, I worked as a District and Regional Manager for well-known retailers Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle Outfitters. While I was working in Atlanta for American Eagle, AT&T recruited me to return to Maryland to launch their Baltimore/Washington/Northern Virginia retail market. I spent the next 23 years with AT&T, leading large, complex organizations supporting Public Sector, Wholesale, FirstNet, 911, and Partner Solutions segments. I was responsible for service delivery and service management of AT&T’s most expansive products and services offered to customers including wireline, wireless technologies, and wholesale and partner solutions for public sector customers representing the largest overall customer responsibility scope within AT&T’s Customer Service and Operations division.
What led to your interest in AireSpring?
In my last role at AT&T, I had the pleasure of supporting AireSpring as a client for about two years. What struck me most was AireSpring’s laser focus on customer service. Every interaction with the team left a lasting impression, especially the leadership. Compared to other partners, AireSpring stood head and shoulders above the rest. I distinctly remember thinking that, one day, I would love the opportunity to join the company. Thankfully, the stars have aligned.

As the Senior Vice President of Service Delivery, I have the privilege of leading a diverse and critical team. Our Service Delivery organization encompasses Managed Services Engineering, Project Management, Provisioning, and our Hosting Design team. This talented group of telecom experts is the backbone of AireSpring’s success with partners and customers.
My goal is to continue to improve this already high-performing team to remain the gold standard for Service Delivery in the Managed Services space. We’ll achieve this through best practices, data-driven decisions, automation, and continuous skill development.
Tell us about your hobbies outside of work.
Whenever I have spare time, you’ll find me with my family. My wife, Lori, and I have two wonderful daughters, Mandi and Allie, who have blessed us with five grandchildren—soon to be six! Mandi lives in Asheville, North Carolina, while Allie is only 20 minutes away from us here in Central Florida.
I’m a die-hard American football fan, having played in high school and college, so this time of year—when college and NFL football are in full swing—is my favorite. I also love being outdoors, whether it’s tending to our garden, relaxing by the pool, or spending time on the water. I’m an avid boater and enjoy fishing, crabbing, or just taking a relaxing cruise, although it’s been a couple of years since I’ve had the chance to get out on the boat.
