Farewell, Seniors! Welcome, Summer!
It’s that time of year when we reflect on our growth, savor the accomplishments, and look ahead to what’s next. What a year we have had!
It seems so long ago we started the school year with classes in the auditorium, and came back after Thanksgiving break to beautiful new learning spaces. Students entered the school year with typical new school year uncertainty and goals, and are leaving with skills, knowledge, new friends, and confidence!
This year, 17 seniors are graduating from The Winston School. What an accomplished group! Each is pursuing their personal journey with intention and energy. Many will start college this fall, while others are pursuing their passions, developing their skills, or entering the workforce. We are so very proud of each and every one. As I write this, the commencement ceremony has not yet occurred, yet I know it will be filled with deep meaning and tears of joy. I can’t wait to see the graduates and the happy families attending this significant life milestone.
With summer here, now is the time to rest and rejuvenate. To all students and staff, enjoy your summer! Take the time to read that book, lounge at the beach, and connect with your family and friends. We will be here readying Winston for the next school year, eagerly anticipating a year of continued growth and improvement, strengthening our program, connections and relationships with our tight-knit community.
Congratulations, Graduates! And Happy Summer to all!
With gratitude,
Kim Kanetis
