The Book Sale is on as planned, rain or shine!
Join us for the Friends of the Concord Free Public Library's 2025 Annual Book Sale. The Book Sale is full of nearly-new or gently used books, movies, and music resources for adults and children. Come for your summer reading, treasure hunting, and for the fun. The proceeds from the Friends book sales fund a wide variety of programs at the Library, museum passes, large print books and audiovisual materials, and staff professional development.
Please note that the Friends will resume taking book donations on June 22.

Silent Spring II: The Dangers Of Yard Pesticides

This event's presenter Wilson Kerr will discuss the dangers of pesticides with the hope of raising awareness and informing our community. He will also cover some practical, effective non-toxic alternatives. Plant for Pollinators at Fowler with Lady Fern Farm (All Ages)

Thanks to a grant from the Garden Club of Concord and support from the Concord Free Public Library Corporation, we are transforming part of our front yard into a demonstration of native plant garden. Nikki of Lady Fern Farm has designed our garden, and she will teach participants ways to move from lawn to a diverse, self-sustaining ecosytem without breaking your back or your bank. Words Move Theater Company "Mixed Messages"

Join WordsMove Theater for "Mixed Messages", Five Short Humorous Plays by Jack Neary. Jack Neary is a Massachusetts playwright who has written, acted and directed plays throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. His plays features wry, humorous commentaries on everyday life as well as life in the theater world. This 60 minute show is not suitable for children.
