A message from Maria Muzik & Rena Menke

Michigan is one of the top five states in the nation with the greatest shortage of maternal mental health care providers*. For pregnant and postpartum families, this often means long waits and unmet needs during one of the most vulnerable times in life. We exist to help bridge those gaps through same-day consultation, care navigation, and practical resources and services that support both medical and community-based providers. Each connection and conversation represents an opportunity to reduce access barriers and ensure that families across Michigan receive compassionate, evidence-based mental health support when they need it most.

If you're caring for a pregnant or postpartum patient who needs mental health support, reach out to us today. We're here to help you connect them with the care they deserve.

NEW: Youth Suicide Prevention Video Series

Screening and assessing suicide risk is a core component of prevention. Primary care providers often maintain long-term patient relationships that offer unique opportunities to identify these risks. Our new Youth Suicide Prevention Video Series provides practical guidance on the process, scripted “patient” appointments with examples of how to have these conversations, and information for emergency department and hospital settings.
