Visitor Restrictions Effective December 21, 2021
The surge we all have been preparing for the last 18 months is now upon us and it's greater than we could have ever imagined. A new variant of COVID-19, Omicron, is quickly spreading across the nation and infecting both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Early data indicates Omicron is three times more infectious than previous strains of the virus and that even the vaccinated are likely to get this strain, although they will experience milder symptoms. While we are experiencing unprecedented levels of infectivity and hospitalizations, we anticipate even greater increases following the holiday season. In preparation of this continued surge, these interim restrictions will allow us to continue to fulfill our mission and meet the healthcare needs of our region. It is critical we take measures to preserve and protect our workforce so that they are here to serve you and prevent further interruption to services at LRH. Our ultimate goal is always to keep our patients safe and this is what guides our decision making. Limiting the number of individuals in our facility and minimizing the opportunity for exposure is one of the best ways we can do this. For more information about the latest changes to visitor restrictions at LRH, please visit LRH COVID Operations.
Lovett’s Inn Restaurant is currently closed. Moving forward, we will be focusing our efforts on special events. We are available for gatherings of any occasion; birthdays, anniversaries, showers, rehearsal dinners, weddings, meetings and Holiday parties. We apologize for any inconvenience, during this transition. Our lodging is of course open and still serving a large country breakfast for our guests. We look forward to helping make your next event a memorable one!
