COLUMBARIUM COMMITTEE

Members of the Columbarium Committee will be in the narthex today, at 9:45 AM and following the 11:00 AM service. If you have ever wondered about the columbarium, what a niche includes, how the process works, or what the costs are, we invite you to stop by the table in the narthex after worship. Members of the Committee will be there to answer questions and provide information. There is no obligation—just an opportunity to learn more and consider whether this might be a meaningful choice for you or your family. In addition, we are an active committee always seeking more members to join us.

DON'T FORGET

HELPING US STAY CONNECTED

Do you need a ride to church for Sunday morning services? Please reach out Allison Cannon with our Nurture Team at allisoncannon@comcast.net

St. Andrew is exploring a SALC Taxi Service, inspired by an idea, to help members get to worship and stay connected to our church family.

Right now, we are looking for volunteers willing to provide rides from Nashville and Franklin to St. Andrew. Sometimes, a simple ride can make all the difference in helping someone feel included and connected.

If you are willing to help, please let us know! Together, we can make sure transportation isn’t a barrier to being part of our St. Andrew family.

The Franklin Christmas Parade is coming up on Saturday, December 5th, rain or shine! St. Andrew would love to participate as a wonderful way to reach out to our community, but we need your help to make it happen.

If you'd like to be a part of this fun project, please reach out to Joni Donegan. Also, just a quick note that we won't be needing any post-Halloween candy for the parade this year.

Thank you so much for your support!

A CALL TO SERVE

We’re looking for a St. Andrew member who would be willing to fill a Council position through June 30, 2027 and serve on our Outreach Ministry.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get more involved, help shape the life of our church, and be part of the important work we’re doing in our community and beyond.

If you feel called to serve or would like to learn more, please reach out.

NEEDED: DONATIONS OF FURNISHINGS

AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

This fall Habitat for Humanity is building 7 new homes in a new subdivision in Columbia, TN. We at St.Andrew Lutheran, along with 3 other groups, are sponsoring one of the homes for Nakeisha Crutcher’s family. The other groups who are sponsoring Nakeisha’s family are Holy Family Catholic Church in Brentwood, Franklin First United Methodist Church and the Westhaven community. The goal is to provide furnishings and household items.

There is an Amazon wish list for Nakeisha’s family. It is a large list because this is a fresh start for them. There is a range of prices and items.

https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/3BKSYEXCQ0W9?ref=cmswr_cp_ud_ggr-subnav-share_ZDDZE2RSF16NKH1C8YYP

Amazon wish list purchases will be sent to Holy Family in Brentwood until taken to Nakeisha’s new home in time for the dedication December 5th. There is limited space however, so they are not able to store the larger items like furniture. That means there is a need for larger pieces to be picked up at Holy Family and stored at your own home.

There is also a need for items to be taken to Nakesia’s home in Columbia for the dedication December 5th. Unfortunately, I will be not be able to help with this and not be able to attend the dedication. Anyone who could help with this part of our Habitat ministry would be appreciated. Let me know.

The dedication on December 5th will be for all 7 homes. Everyone is welcome to attend. Time is typically at 11am on site. Address is 1118 Hiwassee Dr, Columbia, TN 38401.

Working together, a family in need will have a home built with God’s love.

Thank you for considering being a part of this ministry.
