Beacon Group Celebrates 50 Years of Partnership with Jim Click Automotive, Honoring Decades of Disability Employment and Advocacy

(Tucson, Arizona – October 14, 2025)

 Beacon Group is proud to celebrate 50 years of partnership with Jim Click Automotive, recognizing a shared commitment to creating inclusive employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Southern Arizona.

In 1975, visionary business leader Jim Click partnered with Beacon Group to employ two car wash employees with disabilities at his dealership. What began as a small initiative grew into a model of inclusive employment that has transformed hundreds of Arizona lives for more than five decades.

Today, Jim Click Automotive employs more than 30 workers with disabilities across its dealerships. Over the past 50 years, Mr. Click has created employment opportunities for hundreds of people with disabilities, likely more than any other business in Southern Arizona.

Leman Academy in Marana will be hosting its 4th Annual Middle School Career Day on November 21, 2025. 

We are looking for some business members from the community that might want to partner with us to do 30 minute breakout sessions for 25-30 scholars at a time. Volunteers can participate for the full day or during am or pm sessions. Here is the interest form to complete if you know anyone that might be interested in participating.

Meet Fuddles, the scruffy little heartthrob who proves that small dogs can come with supersized charm. At just 6 pounds and 4 years old, this long-haired Chihuahua is the definition of “fun-sized.” Honestly, he’s so perfectly portable that you might forget he’s a dog and start treating him like your favorite accessory. And Fuddles won’t complain—he loves being toted around in a sac, like the stylish sidekick he was clearly born to be.



Adoption fee: $350. Neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Approved adoption application required.

Couscous

Meet Couscous, the little long-haired bundle of joy who looks like he just walked off a red carpet—if red carpets were sprinkled with confetti and snacks, of course. At 13 pounds of pure sunshine, this 2-year-old Chihuahua wears his signature smile so well, you’d swear he invented it. Life with Couscous is basically a daily reminder that happiness comes in small, fluffy packages.
