We are busy getting Caledonia Nordic ready for winter, and there is plenty to look forward to! Last season got things started in December, had a great Christmas Break, took a bit of a weather break in January, then finished really strong (I skied well into March and event April). This season, we are looking forward to building on that strong finish and making it even better.
We have added more trails to explore and even more reciprocal partners to enjoy (I think our membership works harder than any others). B & E Good Eats will be back in the lodge, we are planning some fun events for everyone, and the Two Rivers Loppet is back!
Most of all, we are looking forward to having our amazing community back together for another winter of skiing, snowshoeing and enjoying everything Caledonia Nordic has to offer.
Get your memberships now and be part of what is shaping up to be a great season!

After a long off-season, Aaron O’Hearn is back in the office!
Looking for information? He has it. Want to pay cash or cheque for your membership? He can help. Just looking to hang out on the deck? He might join you for a bit, but not too long. We have plenty on his list!
Aaron is busy helping wake up the facility and get everything ready for winter. You can find him at the club Monday to Friday, 9 am–4 pm.
Head out, welcome him back, and get your membership sorted for the coming season!

Our ski programs rely on a great group of volunteer coaches, and we would love to have more members involved! Whether you are getting started or building on your coaching experience, keep these upcoming course dates in mind:
- Learn to Train – Dryland: October 16–18, 2026
- Community Coaching: December 11–13, 2026
- Learn to Train – On Snow: January 22–24, 2027
New Bunnyrabbit and Jackrabbit coaches should complete the online Coach Initiation and Introduction to Community Coaching (ICC) courses first. These can be done at your own pace and are a great way to get started.
Caledonia Nordic covers the course costs for our club coaches. If you are interested in helping this winter or have questions about where to start, contact the office. We would be happy to help!

Our last newsletter included plenty of information about the upcoming AGM, opportunities to join the Caledonia Nordic Board of Directors, and how members can provide input on club policies.
If you missed it, please take a look at our previous newsletter for all the details. We would love to have you involved and hear your thoughts as we prepare for another season!
