The monthly newsletter of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival
Watch Jackie and Aloysia perform two of the greatest piano quintets in different cities this weekend!

What a weekend this will be for livestream viewing! First up, on Saturday, April 1 at 5:30pm PDT, OICMF Founder and Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann will be collaborating with Scott St. John and Alecia Lawyer, both OICMF artists, in ROCO's Unchambered Concert. In addition to some solo Bach and short pieces by Leclair and Bartok, the diverse and fun program will feature the magnificent Schumann Piano Quintet and the world premiere, Trailblazer by Alyssa Morris, dedicated to oboist Laila Storch.

This program will be livestreamed free at ROCO.org, Facebook, YouTube, and A440.live.

Then, on Sunday, April 2 at 3:00pm PDT, Artistic Advisor Jon Kimura Parker showcases brilliant students from the prestigious Colburn School in Los Angeles, where he is Artist-in-Residence this week. In this concert, you’ll hear the piquant Poulenc Sextet, the dreamy Khachaturian trio, virtuoso violin playing in Stewart Copeland’s Celeste (featuring two-time OICMF alumni artist Charlotte Marckx!), and Brahms' undisputed masterpiece, the Quintet for piano and strings in F minor.

Livestream tickets are available for $10 here.
