NEW SEM MLS POLICY

Disclosure of Personal Interest/Relationship Policy

Adopted 05.14.2026

Ownership interest in property for sale or lease, or contemplated interest to purchase or lease property, must disclose in the MLS. The present ownership interest in property for sale or lease, or contemplated interest to purchase or lease property, includes transactions in which REALTORS®; represent themselves, represent a member of their immediate family, represent their firm or any broker or agent thereof or represent an entity in which the REALTOR^® or member of their immediate family has a legal interest.

Currently, SEM MLS has been working with MiRealSource and our vendor to add a “Broker/Agent Related” option under Ownership Type when creating a new listing.

As of now, please add a statement in the Agent Remarks regarding ownership status if the listing agent is related to the seller.
