Hi Toni,
.The drum is beating. Can you feel it or hear it? As Pluto, the god of death and transformation moves back and forth until November 20 between Capricorn (the father archetype) which cares the most about personal power, ambition and career advancement to Aquarius, which rules humanitarianism, global unity, the future, and what is good for the whole, we are seeing great division in our country. But we have been here before. When Pluto last transited Aquarius from 1777-1798, we had just declared our independence from the monarchy, the French began their own battle from the autocracy of the British Empire through the French Revolution which went on for 10 years, and it birthed the beginning of another kind of rebellion, named the Industrial Revolution. We moved from an agrarian society built on farming to urbanization. Sound familiar with the advent of AI?
As we move now at the tail end of Pluto in Capricorn to Aquarius, whom we have in leadership will have to be a fit for the archetype of Aquarius. At that time, Thomas Jefferson fought for the ideals of a republic, not a dictatorship while he was in Washington's cabinet, despite the risk this was: the U.S. chose an isolationist policy regarding support for those trying to overthrow the French dictatorship of Louis the XVI. The French supported the Americans during the previous American Revolution and Jefferson never forgot it when their own rebellion broke out.
Jefferson had a grand trine in fire - Aries Sun, Sagittarius moon, and Mars in Leo with the planet of rebellion that rules Aquarius, Uranus squaring his sun. His chart reeks of being a charismatic rebel. Many thought that his vehement support of a democratic society that encourages the common man to rise above his station to be idealistic. It was believed that Americans, accustomed to deferring to the government as we had done during the monarchy, would prefer someone militaristic like General Washington, and that it would cost Jefferson the presidency and yet, in the first few months of the turn of the 19th century, Jefferson became President of the United States on March 4, 1801.
Cut to the present:
With the north node in Aries and the solar eclipse energy in Aries all of this year, we are being called to bring in our individual higher purpose while also serving the whole of humanity through the transit of Pluto into Aquarius.
Aries is also mythologically, the god of war and we are seeing in American citizens, war like ideology with a divisiveness like we haven't seen since the Civil War. So how do each of us work with these dividing factions that live within us as duality every day? Nietzsche encouraged his sister Elisabeth "to take risks, to tread new paths… with all the uncertainty of one who must find his own way". I encourage everyone to take just 10 minutes in the morning to ask the consciousness of light, the undivided love frequency to permeate our minds today. This is the best use of this new energy of Jupiter in Gemini. If we can hold a space inside for our own inner warring factions, and with the curiosity of Gemini, give acceptance to both our deepest judgements and our highest humanitarianism, something else can emerge - a voice of truth... and an understanding of what our purpose is now. Questions can give more insight than answers, such as "How can I best be of service on this planet at this time?" Consulting a vocational astrologer can help with direction as we each come in with a soul contract. The key is in understanding how to fulfill that agreement.
One simple way of being of service is to not take sides in the political debate. Be curious as to what each candidate has to offer us. You can decide in November who to vote for but for now, the greatest contribution you can offer is to hold all the candidates in the Christed Consciousness and surrender to Spirit all your own opinions.
None of the personal planets that affect us individually the most, are retrograde. Mercury will not go retrograde again until August, Mars not until December, and Venus not until next year so moving ahead on our aspirations can happen this summer with a clear vision.
Every June, I offer my soul blueprint readings for 20% off in celebration of my birthday month. Last month I offered a discount to mothers for Mother's Day and to celebrate the launching of my paperback version of BreastQuake. I am continuing the discount for everyone who receives this newsletter as part of my traditional offering. The offer is only for June though and a first come first serve as I only do two of these a week along with my private career coaching practice. It is not posted on my website so please reach out to me through drtoni@drtonigalardi.com if you are interested.
Lastly, an interesting study was done on teenage girls and their mothers. They studied oxytocin and what level it went to when they spoke to their mothers versus texting and found that the level did not go up at all when texting but having a personal phone call created a far greater bonding stimulus that translated into higher blood levels of oxytocin. Oxytocin, the bonding hormone is also produced by men in the pituitary gland and when humans irrespective of gender connect emotionally through the heart, this hormone gets released and has a calming effect. As we move into lucky, expansive Jupiter in the sign that rules communication, make a point to have as many personal communications with people by phone. Your body will love you for it.
Blessings,
Dr Toni
