Make sure to check out Healthy In the Garden State! | | |
Ethos Farm Featured in New Episode of Healthy In The Garden State exploring the connections between food, farming, education, and health.
What would change if we truly treated nutrition as an essential part of lifelong health?
That's one of the questions explored in the newest episode of Healthy In The Garden State, a New Jersey-based streaming series highlighting practical, expert-backed approaches to healthier living across the Garden State.
The episode visits two New Jersey organizations taking a broader look at food and health: Princeton School Gardens Cooperative and Ethos Farm in Long Valley.
At Ethos, host and executive producer Kate Cherichello Tente speaks with founder Dr. Ron Weiss, Dr. Saul Bautista, and members of the Ethos team about the connections between healthy soil, healthy food, and human health. The conversation explores regenerative agriculture, whole-plant foods, lifestyle medicine, and the concept of food as medicine.
Within Princeton School Gardens Cooperative, students and teachers are learning about food through growing, cooking, tasting, science, and hands-on experiences -- exploring where food comes from and how it connects to health, sustainability, and community.
Together, the stories invite viewers to think more broadly about food: ask questions, learn, and realize the impact on ourselves and our environments.

What does community mean to you?
Is it growing food?
Getting your hands in the soil?
Supporting your local farm and market?
Caring for the land?
Or simply showing up and lending a hand?
At Ethos Farm to Health, community is all of these things—and you can be part of it.
We’re looking for volunteers from our community to help around the farm, in the market, with harvest and wash-pack, weeding, farm projects, events, and more. Whether you have a green thumb or have never worked on a farm before, there’s a place for you here.
Come spend a few hours on the farm, meet your neighbors, support local food, and help us care for this special piece of land.
Want to volunteer? Email us at inquiry@EthosFarmtoHealth.org or stop by the farm market and talk with us.
