Join Us for A Walk in My Shoes 🎬

You've heard the buzz, now join the conversation!

LMM cordially invites you to attend a screening of Gloria Craig’s A Walk in My Shoes documentary, a film sponsored by the We Raise Foundation dedicated to building a broader discussion around homelessness.

Hosted at the Cleveland Public Library on May 29 at 5:30 PM, this will be one of the final free public viewings of A Walk in My Shoes until film festival season this fall. This screening is not one to miss, as the event will feature a panel discussion with the filmmaker centered around homelessness in Cleveland, as well as a live viewing of the Portraits of Strength: Stories of Redemption photo gallery.

A Look into 3D-Printed Housing Initiatives 🏠

LMM was recently awarded a $500,000 contract from Cleveland City Council to explore 3D-printed housing! LMM will put together a feasibility study, which will take six months, and then partner with a builder to construct two pilot houses. More details to come!

In the meantime, check out the short video above for an overview of 3D-printed housing efforts in Austin, Texas that provide dignified, stable housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. While this initiative in Austin may differ from efforts to come in Cleveland, this video provides a look into the building process and the potential of 3D-printed housing for those looking to learn more.
