OSSINING, NY - Due to rapidly escalating health concerns relating to the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Village of Ossining announced on Friday, March 13 ^th that all Village buildings will be deep cleaned in the coming days. To facilitate this, the Joseph G. Caputo Community Center will be closed on Sunday, March 15 ^th and Monday, March 16 ^th . Consequently, all Ossining Village Recreation classes, lap swim, activities, and events are also canceled on those days.

“The Village takes seriously the health and safety of our community. We are taking measures to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Disease,” said Mayor Victoria Gearity. “We are following recommendations from the CDC for environmental cleaning and disinfection. Ossining’s emergency management team is closely monitoring the situation. We will communicate further updates through our website, email, and social media.
