THIS SUNDAY AT GRACE

This Sunday, we welcome Rev. David Judd, who will share a message titled “Being Available and Open!” Drawing from Exodus 33:12–23 and the teachings of Thessalonians, he’ll explore what it means to be open to God’s presence and guidance, and how our faith comes alive through love, hope, and action.

Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:15 a.m. as we consider how we can make ourselves available to God and one another.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT GRACE

Join us Sunday, October 25, after worship as we celebrate Grace Presbyterian Church’s 27th birthday with food, fellowship, memories, and a look toward what’s ahead!

This year, lunch will feature boxed lunches from ThunderCloud Subs, and we need your help choosing what to order. Please use this SignUpGenius link to select a sandwich for each person in your family who will be attending.

Choose from turkey, ham, tuna, roast beef, club, provolone cheese, or Veggie Delite, with gluten-free options available for every selection. The Veggie Delite can be ordered with either hummus or cream cheese—just note your preference in the comments.

Important: This sign-up is primarily a survey to help us order the right number and variety of lunches. Your name will not be attached to your individual meal unless you have dietary needs.

Come celebrate 27 years of Grace—yesterday, today, and tomorrow!

We hope you’ll join us for this special day of faith, fellowship, and celebration.

Help Us Grow Grace’s Generation Tree!

As part of our 27th Birthday Celebration, we’re creating a growing Grace Generation Tree, and we want everyone in the Grace family to be part of it!

Between now and October 25, take a little time to think about what you would add to our tree:

-A memory from our past — a moment, person, or story that has stayed with you.

-Something you treasure about Grace today — what makes this church family meaningful to you now.

-A hope or dream for our future — what would you love to see as Grace grows into the years ahead?

Together, these memories, reflections, and hopes will help tell the story of Grace from generation to generation. Come ready to add your thoughts to the tree at our Birthday Celebration!

If you can’t be there, you can still be part of it. Email your contribution to grace.brendakrusely@gmail.com, and we’ll print it and add it to the tree for you.

Stewardship and Generosity

are never a one-way street

Every year, we celebrate the divine call that emerged and gave birth to Grace Presbyterian Church, Round Rock. No divine fault that perhaps the ‘round rock’ we are upon which the foundation of this church was built; an anchoring point, pioneering spirit and community identity. We are Christ’s church; the cornerstone of our faith is embedded in Round Rock.

As a living cornerstone church, we are united in body, soul, and spirit. We are not square, triangular, or rectangular rocks. We are round like a circle with no starting point and no ending point. That is what symbolizes our love for God and for one another; a love that is never ending. That is who we are. We carry this love and shine brighter in our stewardship and generosity to ourselves and beacon of hope to a dark world.

What shape is your rock?

How can a dark world see us as a beacon of hope and light? As we approach our 27th anniversary celebration, here is one wonderful quote I want us to thoughtfully reflect on: “Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.” — J. M. Barrie

As a church family, we are called to be salt and light in the world—to love generously, give joyfully, and serve faithfully. When we think about Christian stewardship, it is easy to focus on the act of giving itself: offering our time, our spiritual gifts, our financial blessings, and our care. But Scripture and experience remind us that generosity is never a one-way street.

When you choose to pour love and kindness into the lives of others, God has a beautiful way of reflecting that warmth right back into your own spirit. As Proverbs 11:25 reminds us, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” True stewardship is not merely a responsibility—it is a sacred opportunity to participate in God's work, building up our faith community while discovering deeper purpose, joy, and peace in our own hearts.

Whether through serving in a ministry, encouraging a neighbor, supporting our church’s mission, or simply offering a warm smile and a listening ear, every act of faithful stewardship leaves a lasting mark.

As we walk together this week, let’s remember that the light we share brightens our entire congregation and ripples far beyond our walls.

How will you share your light and blessings with someone in our church family or community this week?

Sunday Morning Adult Discussion Group

This Sunday, the Creative Christianity discussion group will continue their study based on Adam Hamilton's newest book, The Holy Spirit--God's Presence and Power at Work in Us. In this study, Hamilton examines the movement and work of the Holy Spirit throughout the Bible from Genesis to the Epistles. We will be asking and answering questions such as:

  • What exactly is the Spirit?
  • What can we learn about the Spirit from the Bible?
  • How does the Spirit work in our lives?

Please join us at 9 AM in room 5A for lively and thoughtful discussion as we, as followers of Jesus, explore what it means to be Christians in the 21st century.
