The updated iDX from Polara is now available to order for midblock crosswalks and other uncontrolled crossings.

Orders are being accepted immediately, with an anticipated lead time of approximately 8 weeks. Initial units are expected to begin shipping on February 6, 2026.

Availability for these applications was previously paused after rainy conditions were found to cause unintended activations through the radar-based iDetect feature.

Since that time, their engineering team has refined the iDetect system and completed extensive testing, confirming that rainy conditions no longer result in unintended activations.
