FROM THE PTSA

PTSA MEETING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

Our first meeting of the year is going to be full of information. There will be a social hour you can drop in on from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM to meet Mr. Hendrickson and chat with other parents. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM with updates from the principal and special guest teachers going over some details about camp. Please join us in the Lyceum to hear all the news.

CLASS LIAISONS PROGRAM

Get connected to ICS Families. By joining our class liaisons program you can find out about grade level social events for your student. If you have not already joined the Class Liaison Program, email your grade level representatives to get connected. 

VOLUNTEERING

There are some great opportunities coming up. The first and best one is CAMP! Camp runs from October 4-6. Chaperones are needed for this action-packed event. If you have the time, please consider volunteering for this special to ICS event. For more information, contact the volunteer coordinator.

ART DAY AT ICS

It's time for 2024 Art Day Preparation. The Art Day Committee is looking for your help. There are a few open positions for the Art Day Committee, if you have interest, please contact artday@icsptsa.org or ali@icsptsa.org. Open positions are:

ICS Runs on Family Donations

Camp! Art Day! Clubs! Scholarships! Much of what makes ICS a great school depends on parent financial support. We are off to a fantastic start. So far, we have raised 41% of our total budget. Thank you to those who have already filled out your PTSA forms and donated. 

In order to move forward with confidence, we need to fully fund our annual budget in the fall. Securing our budget requires each of us to contribute (or reach out and pledge to donate) in September. Please help our students by donating now–donations that come in later in the year may be too late to support this year's activities. We ask for $250, and matching funds in addition, so we can cover our proposed budget. Thank you!

CALLING All ICS PARENTS: SIGN-UP FOR VOLUNTEER OPPS

To indicate your volunteer interests for the 2023-24 school year, please complete the Volunteer Interest Signup Form.

Returning parents: please complete the Volunteer Interest Signup Form even if you did so last fall. We do not use information from the previous year; instead, we create new volunteer lists each year with current information and preferences. Once logged-in to the website, you can access the form here.

The Volunteer Signup Form will close on September 30th. Please know that volunteers play an essential role in our ICS community! If you have any questions, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.

ICS LOGOWEAR ONLINE STORE NOW OPEN

We are excited to announce that the Logowear Online Store is now open! Order your spirit gear using this link and be sure to put your child's name on the order especially if you choose to pick up at school. The online store is open for a limited time - only through September 30th, so get yours before it's too late. Samples for some sizes, materials and styles are available at the student services office. Orders will arrive at the end of October. If you choose "pick-up" as your shipping option, your order will be delivered to ICS.
