It's Time for a RESET Whether you call it Conscious Capitalism, Stakeholder Capitalism, Inclusive Capitalism, or something else, it's time to RESET the global economy to a version of capitalism where everyone shares in prosperity. On September 13th, Conscious Capitalism, Inc. joined with Imperative21 coalition partners to call for a RESET of the global economic system to stakeholder capitalism. For two decades, many organizations have been working to change this. Last year, six of us came together, Conscious Capitalism, B Lab, the B Team, JUST Capital, and the Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism, to align on the 90% we have in common: that there is a single, clear imperative for the 21st century: to transition the global economy to stakeholder capitalism. B Local PDX BLD PNW 2020 - A Virtual B Corp Gathering October 14 & 15, 2020 BLD PNW (B Corp Leadership Development - Pacific Northwest) is the largest B Corp-centric gathering in the Pacific Northwest. By providing a unique opportunity for inspiration and connection, we build a stronger movement to use business as a force for good. In 2020, our fourth annual conference will be shifting to a virtual event with intentional opportunities for engagement and connection with our B Economy community. The two-day event will take place on October 14-15th and will be open to anyone, anywhere. Our conference theme this year is Re-BLD ("rebuild"), and our gathering will bring together a diverse group of professionals and practitioners to educate our community and facilitate conversations about how we reimagine a better community, recreate a better world, recalibrate our business models around equity, and rebuild a more inclusive economy.
