As a condition to receiving our Scholarship, you agreed to apply for lawful status (e.g., DACA!) as soon as it became available to you.

DACA could still go away – there is a pending federal case that could end DACA for new applicants; and

DACA is critical to your future career and livelihood.

Through the help of a generous donor, THeDream.US will pay $495 for your initial DACA application if you meet these eligibility criteria:
- You must be a current Scholar of TheDream.US enrolling at a Partner College this Fall.
- You must have received this email from TheDream.US telling you that you are eligible to apply.

You must be facing financial hardship. Please do not apply if you have access to other funds for your DACA application fee.

You must complete the online application before September 30, 2021, 11:59 PM PST. But don’t wait! Apply now to ensure your application is pending in the event of a negative court decision.
What happens next: Once ISTS confirms that you meet the eligibility criteria, they will mail you a check made payable to the Department of Homeland Security for $495 to send with your DACA application. You do not have to pay this back.
