MNC leaders and staff attended a community forum with GLIDE’s Center for Social Justice! MNC staff member Gabby Curiel spoke at the event representing a San Francisco parent perspective and MNC in Admissions!

Families, providers, community partners, and public officials all attended including Mayor Daniel Lurie. Speakers Kunal Modi, San Francisco’s Chief of Health and Human Services, Supervisor Danny Sauter, and Dr. Gina Fromer, President and CEO of GLIDE all discussed real ways to make childcare more accessible and equitable for San Francisco families.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) invited MNC HADS to take part in its first-ever Community and Staff Latin Cable Car Ride! Nearly 100 community members, youth, city partners, and SFMTA staff came together to celebrate Latino culture.



One of our participants, Jose Alvarado, shared his experience using public transportation in San Francisco. Participants enjoyed a ride on one of the city’s iconic cable cars and students delighted everyone with traditional dances. We are happy to see our guests’ voices and experiences included in such a meaningful event!

At La Tiendita Food Bank, we reached more than 50 families with the goal of raising awareness about MNC Family Services. The most interest was in the diaper distribution program and the Parent-Child Interaction classes.

At Rich Sorro Commons, we had the opportunity to share information about MNC Family Services with 25 families. We shared information about the ERAP program and provided families with resources. Many showed interest in our diaper distribution services and food bank.



These were great opportunities to connect with families, raise awareness about our services, and strengthen relationships within the community.

The Las Comadres Workshop was held with 23 mothers. The goal was to provide healthy communication tools for mothers to strengthen their relationships with their adolescent children and promote family relationships based on respect, trust, and mutual understanding.



During graduation, participants reflected on different parenting and educational approaches, discussing how this influences communication, development, and the emotional well-being of their children.
