LCH has been very busy this summer and the pace continues to heat up this month. We are excited to be celebrating our 50th Birthday with our community during National Health Center week, August 6 – August 12. We are proud to partner with many local and national organizations to bring care to our community. Read this month’s Newsletter to learn more about our supporters, our patients and our team. Save the Date for our fundraising dinner on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, where we will hear remarks from Paul Redman, Longwood Gardens President and CEO. National Health Center Week |

International Overdose Awareness Day |

August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD). This day remembers those who have lost their lives to an overdose. We acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind and renew our commitment to end overdose and related harms. |

Meet Sean. Sean has been visiting LCH for 2 years and has been taking his mental health journey step by step. When Sean decided to reach out, our team was ready to support. “Being in a very negative headspace and not knowing exactly where to go... Community health screening number 4 of 2023 took place at The Lighthouse Youth Center. Our team was happy to provide sports and drivers license physical exams for the center's youth and adult screenings for parents. Thank you to the Lighthouse for this opportunity to serve! |
