Hey Braves!

I want to share a special message from myself and the fellow students here on campus.

What brought us all to Bradley?

For me, the choice was a no-brainer!

Why?

I wanted to become a Brave, not just because of my family legacy, but also because of what can only be found here on the Hilltop. Only at Bradley could I serve as Student Body President, pursue a double-major, work at the admissions office, play in the Symphony Orchestra, write for the Bradley Scout, report with BUTV, serve with Epsilon Sigma Alpha, play in the tennis club, and still get a healthy amount of sleep!

How?

All of these experiences might be found at other colleges, but at Bradley it's actually possible to balance it all. This is thanks to the immense support from faculty, staff, alumni and all of our university community members who are committed to helping Braves explore everything that life has to offer.

Believe it or not, my story isn't that rare. Many of my peers are involved in multiple organizations on campus in their own ways and the sheer potential available here is what drew them to Bradley too. We all have a shared passion for pursuing these opportunities that you help make possible, and that is what's fueling our excitement for next week's 10th Annual Day of Giving celebration on April 2!

On behalf of my peers, as Student Body President, I want to extend our gratitude and appreciation for your important role in Lydia Moss Bradley's Legacy.

  • The Braves could not rally to victories without the sea of red and white cheering them on in the stands.
  • Students would not readily receive amazing internships without an extensive network of engaged alumni.
  • Our staff and faculty could not continue providing nationally ranked student experiences without the unwavering support of Bradley community members.

Most of all, none of us would be able to stay so involved on campus and build lifelong friendships and connections if we didn't have the example led by generations of Braves like you. On April 2, we are celebrating more than 125 years of Braves discovering the power of leadership. To commemorate this unique part of our legacy, the first 1,000 supporters who make a gift for Day of Giving will receive a special, surprise giveaway as reminder that Braves Go First!

I can't wait to see everyone come together on April 2 for the Day of Giving. This is our moment to celebrate being #AlwaysBradley. I will be in touch the night before the big day to share my tips on how best to prepare for the moment we've been counting down to.

Til then, Go Braves!

Sincerely,
