So there’s this old saying that says, “April showers bring May flowers.” The fifth month of the Gregorian calendar named “May,” originates in Roman mythology from the goddess Maia. Maia represented growth and fertility. In Greek mythology, the goddess Maia is the daughter of Atlas and the mother of Hermes. Maia literally means “mother, good mother, nurse, and/or midwife.” Read more...

2025 Summer Intern Program: Calling All Mentors!


The ACC St Louis Summer Internship program is seeking (4) In-House Members to act as mentors and touchpoints for this year’s summer interns.


We ask each mentor to:

  • Make connection with your assigned intern in late May - early June
  • Meet with your assigned intern for coffee or lunch a couple times over the summer
  • Be reasonably available via email, text, or phone for general questions from your intern
  • Share your career path, successes, and challenges, including why you chose In-House
  • Help your intern navigate an office environment
