Election Day - Every Single Vote Matters!
TODAY, Tuesday, November 3rd, is the last day to cast your ballot in the 2026 Midterm Election. This incredibly consequential election will decide control of both the U.S. House and Senate, as well as Governorships and state legislative seats across the country. In Florida, we are also voting on three proposed Amendments. If you are voting today, please remember that you must vote at your assigned precinct. (Locations by county: DUVAL l ST. JOHNS l CLAY l NASSAU l FLAGLER l PUTNAM l BAKER)
Despite the Trump administration's efforts to undermine trust in our elections, record numbers of U.S. voters have voted early. Statewide, 39% of Florida voters have voted early. More than 232,400 people cast ballots in Jacksonville - a 19% increase (+34,474) in turnout compared with the 2022 midterms. Overall turnout, including mail-in and Early Voting, is 35.5%, according to the Duval Supervisor of Elections Office.
If we want to take our country and our state back, we need to vote in numbers too big to rig. If you plan to vote today, please remember:
-
To have your vote counted, you must be in line to vote by the time polls close. Duval County polls are open today from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Check other counties: ST. JOHNS l CLAY l NASSAU l FLAGLER l PUTNAM l BAKER

Today is also the last day to return your vote-by-mail ballot before polls close. DO NOT MAIL IT! All mail-in ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office (Duval County SOE, 105 E. Monroe Street in downtown Jacksonville.) You can have a friend or family member return your mail-in ballot if you can't make it yourself.
- If you experience any problems at the polls confirming your registration, do not simply leave the polling site. Ask to complete a provisional ballot.
- If you are in line by the time polls close, you must be allowed to vote regardless of the size of the line. Do not leave the line or go home until you vote!
- If you experience or witness difficulties with voting or any voter suppression activities, immediately notify the Election Protection Hotline (866-687-8683). Local volunteers are available to investigate, provide assistance, and resolve issues.
- Contact your local Supervisor of Elections Office if you have any questions about voting. They are the best source of information. Duval County SOE = 904-255-VOTE (8683)
