Family driven care has come a long way since advocates began promoting it as a better way of working with families and their children with mental health needs. But, we are not there yet, and possibly we have been back sliding a bit amidst attitudes of complacency and comfort. Let’s get fired back up and bring this movement around to where we intended it to be. This presentation looks at where we are as individuals, as a movement, and as a nation driven by policy instead of need. Be the spark that reignites the smoldering flames of family driven practices; be bold, be brave, be whatever it takes.
