2026 Thomas J. Pearsall, Jr. Psychiatry Fellowships

Apply by May 1, 2026

Psychiatrists seeking to expand their knowledge of psychoanalytic theory and practice are invited to apply for the Pearsall Fellowship, supported by the generous philanthropy of Thomas J. Pearsall, Jr. Offered by the PCC, this opportunity is open to psychiatry residents and fellows in postgraduate years 3–5, as well as early career psychiatrists across North and South Carolina.

The fellowship supports continued professional growth through optional second- and third-year awards, bi-monthly case conferences with PCC faculty, and valuable clinical insight into psychoanalytic practice. Pearsall Fellows also receive Professional Membership to the PCC, which includes access to the Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (PEP) database and complimentary continuing education programs.

Completed applications must be received by May 1.
