The Parish Council is inviting parishioners to reflect, to give thanks, and to share the blessings you carry in your heart, for which you give thanks. Please take time, reflect and follow the instructions in the bulletin so we can present those blessings and prayers of thanksgiving as part of our Thanksgiving Mass at 9:00am Thursday, November 22 at St. Mary's. Fr. Mark will be celebrating the Thanksgiving Day Mass this Thursday. Please turn in your reflections by Wednesday to the Parish Office.
The Guild of St. Mary is inviting your support of the annual Sharing Tree. The Sharing Tree is an outreach of love and generosity to families of our sharing parish, Most Blessed Trinity. You
are invited to take an ornament from the tree this weekend with a family's name and information, shop for them, providing some joy that they will share on Christmas Day. Distribution of the ornaments will take place November 17 and 18, with all gifts to be dropped off on December 8 and 9. Thanks to the Guild's St. Maria Goretti Circle for bringing this opportunity to our parishioners.
This Sunday you are invited to stop by the Donut Sunday in the school cafeteria. We have reached out to families who have had their children baptized in 2017 and 2018 to participate. May all who gather experience the warmth and hospitality shared with parishioners over a cup of coffee or juice and a donut.
My brother and his son live in New York, where my nephew is currently a 7
th
grader in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic School. My nephew is doing well in the school and often calls his uncle when he needs some assistance with his religion homework. My brother told me that they have already started looking at Catholic high schools for my nephew in the fall of 2021. He informed me that if you don't start looking now, he may miss a great opportunity for my nephew.
Saturday, December 1 is the day for our 8
th
graders to take the entrance exam for local Catholic high schools. May our students do well as they take these exams looking forward to continuing to grow in faith through Catholic education at one of the many fine options available in our community.
This weekend is the annual Catholic Campaign for Human Development. You can learn more about this Campaign and ministries in the Church supported by your spiritual and financial support at

"Most merciful mother, you came to tell us of your compassion through St. Juan Diego, whom
you called the littlest and dearest of your sons. Give your strength and protection to all who live
in poverty today, especially the young, elderly, and vulnerable. Plead for them to the Father, that
they might experience the Divine Love tangibly in their daily lives, and that all who work for justice
on behalf of the poor might grow in fortitude and humility. In these ways, manifest your charity and concern in our lives, that the weeping of humanity may be heard, and all our suffering, pain, and
misfortune may be filled with divine comfort and healing. May we always know the peace of being
in the cradle of your arms, and bring us safely home to your son, Jesus. Amen."
God bless you with an
