By now, most of you have heard of the horrific ongoing serial killings of Muslim men in my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Albuquerque is also the headquarters of the civil rights advocacy organization I lead called the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF).

These latest murders are not the first time MRFF has spoken out against Islamic hate crimes in our city of Albuquerque.* I surely hope it will be the last time. Sadly, mere “hope” is never a plan, and the hellscape of evil extremist religious bigotry, hatred, and prejudice are rampant in America today as never before and shows no signs of letting up as we speed toward our national referendum of the midterm elections on November 8, ’22.

MRFF earnestly calls on all Albuquerque residents (and any others with the capacity to do so) to expeditiously assist ongoing law enforcement investigatory efforts in any way possible to swiftly arrest and bring to justice the cowardly perpetrators of these monstrous crimes of ethnically/religiously-targeted murder.

MRFF currently and proudly represents slightly more than 18% of all Muslims honorably serving in the U.S. military. In this advocacy capacity, MRFF is acutely aware of the vile stench of anti-Muslim rhetoric and behaviors these brave service members face on literally a daily basis.

MRFF decries these vile murders against our beloved Muslim neighbors in Albuquerque and challenges our New Mexico community to leave no stone unturned in assisting local and federal law enforcement personnel in their efforts to stop those responsible for such homicides in their tracks once and for all.
