Venting Oil with Polypropylene

This webinar will cover how Energy Kinetics dilution air venting called “Smart Vent” works, why it is necessary and how to install it. Energy Kinetics uses the Smart Vent system on the Non- Condensing Oil and Gas Resolute RT and Ascent Plus boilers. We will review those heating systems that have this venting package and how to apply them to your venting requirements. We will also explain the difference between Polypropylene and PVC materials and their limitations. A review of the extra safety controls that are used and how to test them will round out the conversation.
About the speaker:
Roger Mitchell has over 30 years of experience in the Heating and Cooling industry. One of Roger’s positions was Dean of Education for the Maine Oil Dealers association now Maine Energy Marketers. He was responsible for all training Curriculums and creation of the Hands on training lab. Roger has concentrated on technical training, covering a wide variety of topics including Oil heat, Air conditioning, Propane, Natural Gas and Building Performance.

Currently employed by Energy Kinetics Roger’s focus is on tech support and the proper installation and maintenance of the High Efficiency Heating equipment manufactured by Energy Kinetics. Roger brought the Hands on training to Energy Kinetics with creation of the Boiler training simulators.
