Parent Cue

This app is a great way for parents to access age-appropriate content which can help them guide their children's spiritual growth at each stage.

Parent Cue has options for different levels of access. There is also an opportunity for Good Shepherd to have a church account which you would then be able to connect to your personal account. *If that is something you're interested in, please let me know.

"At Parent Cue, our goal is simply to cue you with what you need when you need it, so you can be the parent you want to be."

NEW: The Lutheran Study Bible App

Concordia Publishing House just came out with this new app for an interactive study Bible in the ESV. Do you enjoy the Bible App? If so, this will be a great tool for diving deeper, with access to Lutheran study notes as well as other helpful features. Available on the App Store or Google Play.

Catechism App

For those of you who have kiddos joining our Confirmation age-group soon (or just for those who'd like a handy review), this app is for you!  An interactive version of Luther's Small Catechism is an easy way to keep answers to our faith's tough questions on hand. Available for Apple and Android.

Dwell: The Audio Bible App

Reading not really your thing? (Me either.) As a primarily auditory learner, I much prefer to learn by listening. If you like to learn, but prefer to multitask, that might mean that sitting down to read physical books can sometimes prove to be a bit challenge. That's why I personally enjoy Dwell.

The Dwell Bible App provides a way to listen to God's Word wherever you are, no matter what you're doing. With cool features like listening plans, options for narration, topical verse playlists, and customizable background music, Dwell allows for an immersive experience that makes spending time in God's Word easier than ever!

Check it out on the Apple App Store or Google Play and try it out with their 7-day free trial!

Focus on the Family

Most recent episode: Don't Give Up On The Next Generation

Many people are down on the next generation. But, what if there was a more optimistic way to see young people? Jim Daly and J. Warner Wallace explain why dwelling on the negative isn't good for the upcoming generation. You'll also hear from Danny and John about how making sacrifices for your kids can be a joyful thing.

The Bible Project

The Bible Project has tons of great resources, but one of their most well-known is their animated Bible stories.

"All of our videos are short visual explanations that show how the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus."
