It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Perry Bigelow, founder of Bigelow Homes, passed away on July 4, 2022. Perry was passionate about home building, always inquisitive and willing to embrace new design and construction techniques. He was a pioneer in energy conservation, affordable housing designs, and neighborhood land planning, design and development for family living.

Perry was highly respected by his peers. He was honored numerous times by the industry and major trade publications. He was named Builder of the Year by Professional Builder in 2005, and the Chicago Sun-Times named him Builder of the Year multiple times.
