RTOG Foundation and NRG Oncology research was presented during several sessions at the 68th American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting. This included the results of the RTOG 3506 “STEEL” trial noting the addition of enzalutamide to standard androgen deprivation therapy (sADT) improved progression free survival compared to sADT alone in high-risk recurrent prostate cancer. These results were presented as an oral presentation during the “Intensify, Shorten, or Personalize? Modern Approaches to Post-prostatectomy RT” session. Click here for more information.
