For 26 years, Angel Flight NE has been fortunate to have the incredible support and partnership of Hasbro, and once again, their team showed us what generosity, creativity, and community spirit truly look like.

Recently, Hasbro hosted its annual employee “Raffle Rumble,” where departments throughout the company selected charities close to their hearts to support through themed fundraising, raffles, team spirit, and friendly competition. We were beyond honored to be chosen as one of the beneficiaries this year.

The result? An amazing $14,000 raised in support of Angel Flight Northeast and the patients and families we serve.

What made the day so special went far beyond the fundraising total.

Hasbro employees fully embraced the Angel Flight NE theme! They dressed as flight attendants, creating aviation-inspired fun throughout the event, and bringing incredible energy and enthusiasm to the day. The creativity was simply unbelievable! Many of the raffle prizes were generously donated by employees themselves, showcasing the heart and dedication behind this special event.

What continues to amaze us most is the genuine passion the Hasbro team has for helping others. Their support helps ensure children and adults can continue accessing lifesaving and life-sustaining medical care — free of charge — for as long and as often as needed.

Partnerships like this remind us that our mission is powered by people, by communities and by companies that truly care.

To everyone at Hasbro who donated, volunteered, dressed up, purchased raffle tickets, or simply cheered the event on, THANK YOU. Your kindness and commitment help hope take flight every single day.

Celebrating Laura’s Final Treatment Milestone

Laura’s journey is one of incredible strength, resilience, and hope.

After being diagnosed with Stage III clear cell renal carcinoma, Laura faced a year filled with treatment, uncertainty, and the challenge of traveling from Northern Maine to Boston to receive specialized care at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Dana Farber

Over the course of her treatment journey, Angel Flight NE coordinated 42 flights for Laura through our incredible partnership with JetBlue, utilizing both donated flight certificates and purchased commercial tickets thanks to Maine Cancer Foundation, to ensure she could access the care she needed. In addition to the flights, Angel Flight NE also helped coordinate Uber transportation to and from the airport and the hospitals, removing the burden of travel logistics during one of the most difficult times in her life.

Recently, Laura celebrated a major milestone: completing her final treatment.

As she reflected on the past year during Kidney Cancer Awareness Month, Laura shared heartfelt gratitude for her oncology team, nurses, JetBlue crews, and everyone who supported her throughout her journey. She described the flights to Boston as more than transportation, they became a lifeline filled with kindness, comfort, and hope.

Even more inspiring, Laura has already expressed interest in giving back by volunteering to help other patients in Northern Maine who may face the same transportation barriers she once experienced.

We are honored to have been part of Laura’s journey and are cheering her on as she steps into this next chapter filled with healing, strength, and brighter days ahead.
