Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Heat Pump Industry
2025 China Heat Pump Forum Is a Success!
The 2025 China Heat Pump Forum (CHPF) this year was motivated by the dual themes of "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Heat Pump Industry” and “Assisting in the Green Transformation of Economy and Society," reflecting both quality and purpose. This grand event took place in Jinan, China on July 30 and July 31 with a welcome dinner on July 29. It was attended by representatives from member companies of the China Heat Pump Alliance (CHPA) as well as stakeholders in the heat pump industry from around the world.
The CHPF is a unique global venue that is dedicated exclusively to heat pumps. It includes an exhibition with heat pump systems and components on display to encourage conversations with industry stakeholders, including engineering, research and marketing professionals.
Technological advances, heat-pump applications and market developments were shared over the course of two days within seventeen sub-forums and exchange meetings, providing in-depth coverage of a broad scope of topics such as these sub-forums.

A keynote address was delivered at the conference by Peixue Jiang, the renowned professor in the field of heat pumps and Vice President of Tsinghua University. He pointed out that promoting the high-quality development of the heat pump industry is conducive to advancing energy conservation and carbon reduction in key areas, as well as fostering new growth points in green and low-carbon industries.
Professor Jiang put forward four hopes for the Heat Pump Professional Committee of the China Heat Pump Alliance and the entire heat pump industry: first, promote collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application; second, strengthen product promotion and technology popularization; third, carry out vocational skills training; and fourth, deepen international cooperation in the heat pump field.

The success of the 2025 CHPF plays a vital role in actively promoting the implementation of policies such as the "Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Heat Pump Industry," advancing technological progress and quality improvement, and expanding the heat pump industry.
About the CHPA
Established in 2008, CHPA is the most influential organization in the heat pump industry in China. Its mission is to promote the use of heat pump technologies for sustainable development. CHPA is a secondary professional committee under the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA). It has more than 500 enterprise members, representing more than 80 percent of China's heat pump product R&D, production, and manufacturing capacity. CHPA has a close relationship with all parties in the heat pump industry, especially heat pump manufacturers, research institutions, and government agencies, and it acts as a bridge between policymakers and manufacturers in terms of policy and standard formulation.
