The Falcon Flyer - Summer Edition

July 17, 2026

Hello Rondout Families, Friends and Faculty,

It’s hard to believe, but we are officially counting down to the start of another exciting school year! In just one month, our teachers will return to formally begin preparing classrooms and learning experiences for an outstanding 2026–2027 school year. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, August 24.

Our Back-to-School Mailing will be arriving the week of July 27 and will include important information to help your family prepare for the new school year. Inside you'll find key dates, school information, forms, and reminders to ensure a smooth and successful start.

If you have not already done so, please remember to sign up for your Parent Intake Conference. These conferences provide an important opportunity for families and teachers to connect before the first day of school, allowing us to get to know each child and begin the year with a strong home-school partnership. Thank you to the many families who have already reserved their conference time!

We're also looking forward to welcoming families back to campus throughout August. Garden Party dates will be announced soon, and we hope you'll join us for these fun opportunities to reconnect with friends, lend a hand in our gardens, and enjoy our beautiful school grounds before the busy school year begins.

As you continue enjoying summer, please remember to stay safe during periods of excessive heat and poor air quality. When heat advisories or air quality alerts are issued, consider limiting strenuous outdoor activities, staying well hydrated, taking breaks in cool spaces, and following local public health recommendations to help keep everyone healthy and safe.

We hope you're making wonderful summer memories and finding time to relax, explore, and enjoy the season. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Take care... Until next time...
