Parking Lot Update
We are moving forward with our parking lot updates as part of the Our Community. Our Future. Capital Campaign renovations, and bringing you More J on the Way! Please bear with us as the weather cooperates and lot is resurfaced. We will update you with section closures and timeline information as we progress.

Bharati Gokhale - Physical Therapy & Private Yoga Classes
We introduced our amazing new Physical Therapist and Yoga instructor, Bharati, a while back, but we're excited to announce that she is Available for private consultations and sessions…physical therapy with specialization in women’s health and pelvic floor issues, and also private yoga sessions.

BBYO JServe | April 11
This past month the JCC's Capital Campaign, to invest $6.5 million in much needed facility updates and improvements to meet the growing needs of our local community, launched. With the Gordon JCC being home to BBYO, Maccabi and other Teen Programming, it is important to layer in what our role in this community campaign is in this year’s J-Serve project. On April 11, our teens will meet to work on One of the big missions that the campaign has, to "Beautify our space through enhancements and efficiencies".
 
Some (but not all) projects that teens can contribute towards;
  • Building a low ropes course on-site for team-building
  • Cleaning/weeding all outdoor playgrounds
  • Designing new camp signs for outdoor locations
  • Working on the front/community garden
 
Open to ALL 6th-12th graders, FREE shirt, FREE shaved ice, community service hours and FRIENDS.

Exploring Opera: Popular Paris

Such a beautiful, romantic, historic city, it’s no wonder Paris is a popular setting for several operas! Embark on an operatic journey to Paris with popular San Francisco Bay Area instructor James Sokol, who will touch on an array of repertoire from beloved masterpieces (such as Puccini’s La Boheme and Verdi’s La Traviata) to rarely-staged gems (such Meyerbeer’s Les Huguenots and Donizetti’s Ugo, Conte di Parigi) -- each set in "The City of Light!"  Audio & video performance clips bring the charm of Paris and the excitement of opera into the discussion! This is a fun and interesting exploration for both opera newcomers and long-time fans!
