We have some BEAR-Y good news to share!! We are taking a moment to reflect on the incredible outpouring of support and generosity that made BEARing Gifts 2023 a resounding success over the holiday season! With the help of our dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and compassionate community, we were able to make a significant impact on the lives of children in the greater Houston area! Together, we served 26,623 at-risk and CPS-involved children through our BEARing Gifts program! Each of these children received the gift of hope and happiness, thanks to your support!

While BEARing Gifts is a seasonal program, our commitment to supporting at-risk and CPS-involved children is year-round. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us and the unwavering support you provide.

BEAR Necessities
After the holiday season, our BEAR Room has been looking a bit bare.
Last year, we assisted more than 30,000 kids in the greater Houston area with NEW clothing, shoes, diapers, car seats, air mattresses, and more through our BEAR Necessities program. This year-round program helps us ensure children have what they need - when they need it most. You can help by making a donation today!

We'd like to take a moment to recognize our incredible Program Team for their tireless work! Each day, regardless of the program in motion, this team shows up with a smile on their face, ready to assist partner agencies get the resources they need to provide for kids in our community. Whether it's a busy day filled with donation drop-offs, assisting with programs, or working alongside our wonderful volunteers on-site, their dedication is unwavering!
Next time you drop off your donation or come by to volunteer, take a moment to thank them for their hard work. Their efforts might seem behind the scenes, but their impact is truly front and center!

Did you know that there are more than 6,000 children in the State of Texas who are legally available for adoption?
At BEAR, we're deeply committed to supporting these young hearts and minds. You can help them too through Heart Gallery of Greater Houston, a powerful, traveling photographic exhibit created to ignite awareness and help find forever families for children in foster care. Reach out to learn how your company, business, restaurant, church, mall, event, or organization can host an exhibit in 2024!

BEAR's annual fundraiser, Clays for Kids, is right around the corner! Join us on Thursday, May 16th, at the Greater Houston Sports Club as we raise funds to make a difference in the lives of children that need it the most! Our clay shoot fundraiser helps support all our programs that make a difference in the lives of at-risk and CPS-involved children in the greater Houston area.
