Hey there, EPHS Students, Eagle Voice voting is live! Here is how you can get involved: All students can vote on ideas from now until Winter Break! You will have time to vote in Connection on Tuesday Eagle Voice Student Site: https://catapulted.brightidea.com/eaglevoicestudents Make sure you’re logged into your EP Google account and you should be good to go Voting looks different this year with “Chip Voting”  Each student has 50 “chips” to place on their favorite ideas  You can place a maximum of 30 chips on one idea This short video walks you through how to vote What happens after voting? In January, the Student Guiding Team will review results. All are still welcome to join at any time, we meet during Flex in The Collab. Their primary data point will be the amount of chips per idea, but they will also look at how many different people gave chips to each idea, the amount of likes the idea had during the ideation period, and themes among top ideas. From there, top ideas will be pursued. For those with low or no human or financial cost, minimum externalities, and that align with our vision, we’ll implement more swiftly. For ideas with larger costs and impacts, we’ll engage in design cycles.   Since we don’t know how “the chips will fall,” I can’t commit to a specific number of ideas that will move forward. I can commit to testing as many of the ideas as possible. Check out our Idea Showcase for brief descriptions of 37 ideas we’ve implemented from previous initiatives. We will build this out more this spring.

Wouldn’t it be great if every student voted before the 22nd so that when the time comes to implement ideas we knew we were working on those most important to our community? Can we make that happen? I don’t see why not! Please be in touch with questions. Robb
