Introducing Atlas!

It's nice to finally put a name to a face! We are happy to introduce the Folklorama mascot, Atlas!

Atlas officially received his name last week during his 40th birthday celebration! Guests at the Casinos of Winnipeg Folklorama Kick-off joined in the festivities by singing "Happy Birthday" and celebrating the big reveal.

Thank you Allan Goodwin, our mascot naming contest winner!

Sail Through History!

Enter to win a European river cruise courtesy of Cruise Vacations and Air Canada.

Visit any Folklorama Pavilion between August 2nd and 15th, scan the QR code found on the contest poster near the cultural display and enter to win!

Folklorama acknowledges that we create, connect, and celebrate on Treaty 1 territory. We honour the unceded lands and waters of the Anishinaabe (Ojibway), Ininew (Cree), and Dakota peoples, in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We recognize and honour that our drinking water comes from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation on Treaty 3 Territory.

We are committed to building relationships and sharing knowledge, and cultural understanding of all communities. Understanding our diversity fosters pride and mutual respect.
