Greenwood Drive Roadway Resurfacing Project Scheduled to Begin Sunday, December 4th, Weather Permitting | |

Overnight roadway resurfacing operations on Greenwood Drive (from Sea Pines Circle to Club Course Drive) are scheduled to begin at approximately 6:00 PM Sunday, December 4th and will continue through the night of Thursday, December 8th, weather permitting.
Project Overview:
Asphalt milling operations followed by roadway paving and temporary line stripping will be completed next week, weather permitting. Crews will return after the necessary curing period to complete permanent line stripping and install roadway reflectors.
Traffic Management Plan:
- To limit traffic disruption, work will occur during overnight hours from approximately 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday, December 4th through Thursday night, December 8th, weather permitting.
- Expect possible traffic detours along Greenwood Drive from Sea Pines Circle to Club Course Drive.
- Flag persons will be present as needed to control traffic with alternating single-lane closures in the designated work zone.
- Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, detours and devices.

Please use caution while driving in this area. To avoid traffic delays in the project area, please use the Ocean Gate (located at Cordillo Parkway and South Forest Beach Drive).

Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project Update
Phase 3 of the Sea Pines Drive infrastructure repair project is underway with a completion time of Spring 2023.
- Work will be performed Monday - Friday from 7 am - 6 pm. Traffic control will be present in the work zone, as needed.
- Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, and devices.

- Stormwater drain pipe excavation and replacements are in progress (pictured). Project work projected to be completed mid-December, weather permitting.

Sea Pines CSA Class "A" Board of Director Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST, tonight, December 1, 2022
Sea Pines CSA uses Vote-now.com LLC as our 3rd Party Independent Elections Administrator. Unique voting codes have been assigned by Vote-now.com LLC and eligible Class “A” members have the opportunity to cast their votes either online or by completing a mailed paper ballot. Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM EST, December 1, 2022, to be counted. Only one form of voting (either online or by mail) will be counted.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve Prescribed Burn in Progress | |

Please be aware that a prescribed burn is taking place today, December 1, 2022, in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve near the Sea Pines Trolley Station (Lot #1) off Greenwood Drive. There is a possibility that parts of the community may be able to see or smell smoke during the active burn and potentially into the night as mop up operations are conducted. Please drive with caution in the area.
As a reminder, prescribed burns mimic natural wildfires, but are controlled to occur at the right place and right time. Conducting prescribed burns will help maintain a diverse forest understory and further protect the ecosystem of the Forest Preserve. 2022 Annual Critical Infrastructure Funding Assessment Billing Reminder
The 2022 Critical Infrastructure Assessment invoices were sent on Friday, October 14, 2022, to the primary email address on record with Sea Pines CSA and mailed to those property owners who do not have an email address on file. The due date for payment of this assessment is December 12, 2022. For questions, please contact our Finance Department by email at traceym@csaseapines.com.
2023 Sea Pines CSA Annual Assessments
At the November 15th Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors meeting, the Sea Pines CSA Board of Directors unanimously approved the 2023 budget and the related 2023 assessment amounts.

The 2023 assessment for an improved lot will be $1,887 ($647 represents the 2023 Critical Infrastructure portion of the Assessment)

The 2023 assessment for an unimproved lot will be $1,127 ($388 represents the 2023 Critical Infrastructure portion of the Assessment).
We anticipate the 2023 invoices to be sent out on December 15, 2022, to the primary email address on record with Sea Pines CSA and mailed to those property owners who do not have an email address on file. 2023 Annual Assessment payments will be due by April 1, 2023.

Asphalt repairs along St. Andrews Place and Plantation Drive are in progress and will continue through the next week, weather permitting. Sea Pines CSA's contractor will have flagmen present to control traffic, as needed.

Santa & Sirens Event Announcement From The Town of Hilton Head Island
Santa will be touring neighborhoods with Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue from December 2nd - 15th. Santa will be in Sea Pines beginning at South Sea Pines Drive, 5:30 PM, Tuesday, December 6th.
- We are limited by safety, so we stick to the main roads.
- Santa will only be driving through and will not make stops.

Explore Your Forest Preserve Program: Beginner Bird Walks
December 9th | 11 AM Session Still Open

Join Master Naturalist Bob Speare for a leisurely walk through the Forest Preserve to see, hear, and learn about some of the birds who call this amazing habitat their home.
There are two bird walks available. The 90-minute walks are designed for beginning birders, but all levels of bird enthusiasts are welcome. This event is free, but you must register for a ticket. There is a limit of 20 people per bird walk.

| Six Oaks Cemetery: Wreaths Across America | |
Six Oaks Cemetery will be honoring our veterans this Christmas during their thirteenth annual Wreaths Across America ceremony. You are cordially invited to attend the ceremony, which will be held outside, on Saturday, December 17th at noon.
