Service for the Weary

December 15th - An Advent / Christmas Service for the Weary, 4:30 p.m.

The Christmas seasoning often filled with joy and celebration. This season can also be drenched in fatigue, grief, and loneliness for many. This service allows us to gather and honor that reality. As a community we will draw near to God, allow space for healing and transformation and remember that we are not alone.

December 25th

There will not be a service on Christmas Day. For those who would like to attend a service, we invite you to attend our Cathedral. St. John's Cathedral, 1350 N Washington St, Denver, CO 80203 will offer a 10:00a.m. Christmas Service.

December 29th Lessons and Carols, 10:00 a.m.

The message of Christmas is “Peace on Earth.” This service was created as a prayerful response to the dissonance of singing “peace on earth” in an increasingly fractious world besieged by hate speech, fear mongering, bigotry, and violence. This service offers time of reflection, prayer, and inspiration as to how we can be provocateurs of love and agents of transformation and Live the Way of Love. So that, united in the newborn Christ, we will become the change we desire to see in our country and our world. This service will feature Christmas spirituals and music from around the world.
